We made it, we are in Kampala, Uganda!

After 40 hours of flying, layovers and a fun day in London, we have finally arrived!  Excited and overwhelmed, we were immediately reminded that we are in a third world country.  Kampala & surrounding area has 3 million people, and they all seem to be on the roads at once, it's totally insane but what an adventure!

We won't be settled in Masaka for another week, so until then, we are being spoiled by the other missionary couples who are helping us adjust.  Today was out first P-day and we drove to a town called Jinja to visit "The Source of the Nile".  It's where Lake Victoria connects to the head waters of the Nile River.   It was absolutely beautiful, we saw many species of birds, monitors and even monkeys.

  1. Thanks for the post. What an adventure you are and will have. We miss you but know the Lord has sent you where you will be a benefit the new saints and will teach them how to love the Lord along with some laughter.
